The rise of dating-app fatigue

Match Group (MTCH) has a big debt because they had overpaid for PlentyOfFish.
Tinder (launched 2012) is in big war with Badoo (launched 2006), and can not outperform it.
The mission of Tinder was to kill Badoo, but it seems Tinder is killing Match (internal war inside Match Group).

Tinder, Match, Meetic, Ourtime, PlentyOfFish, MeetMe (MEET), Hinge, Happn, CoffeeMeetsBagel, OKCupid, Bumble, Zoosk, and many more: in a WAR between themselves, no one will win!

Key topics within the 2016 edition include:

New implications of multi-platform on content and advertising
How desktop consumption has evolved and remains relevant
Please do not mistake mobile with smartphone. Notebook with WiFi is a mobile device.

Please be alerted and informed it is believed Match Group creates fake profiles from inside to entice customers to subscribe with automatic rebilling clause, and USA FTC goes for them. (Or uses old and inactive profiles as new ones)
Perhaps no more automatic rebilling for subscribers soon, and Match Group can collapse.

Recently Match Group launched OurTimeBrasil new site for Brazil, and the site is new but its initial database if full of profiles.
Perhaps Match Group merged databases from Match Brazil, ParPerfeito, or who knows? but ... it seems it is happening what was described by former Match angry customer:
"Now before I paid for a subscription, I spent about a week seeing what kind of women were using Match dot com. During this time, I was getting a ton of email from women who apparently liked or favourited me. However, after subscribing, the number of such emails I received dropped to zero. I found the reason for this, and it’s because in the daily match results, only 1 out of 12 users is a subscriber (I watched this happen for the last 10 days). Seems the daily match results are setup to maximize sending new users lots of emails. But once you're a member, you need to pay extra to get into these daily match results."

Please remember: In the case of Yuliana Avalos and Melissa Midwest former 2014 big lawsuit againts Match Group, third-party scammers in Africa or wherever were creating fake profiles and catfishing with them.
IAC and Match Group were essentially aware of that situation and did nothing to stop it.
The USA Court ruled that IAC and Match Group were not responsible.
Attorney Evan Spencer, said that despite the fact that anti-scammer technology is available, Match Group failed to use such things as face-recognition software – which would have discovered that Yuliana Avalos's pictures were being used hundreds of times.
Yuliana Avalos has argued in a former 2014 big lawsuit against Match that photos of her were posted without her permission on the site as part of a scam that drove a man to commit suicide.
